We took George’s sister and her husband to Los Cristianos market today. We stopped on way at a café near to the bus station for coffee Al Fresco.

This is about 50 yards from the awful murder on Friday morning. Police seem to have done a good job of cleaning up the area, but there are still a few reminders of what happened here. There is a moving tribute at the scene. People have been talking about Tenerife for all the wrong reasons this weekend. There is hardly any crime here at all.

Had a good walk around the market and all brought a few bits then walked through Los Cristianos Port to Las Americas where we had dinner at our favourite local restaurant, Surfers.

George did not have a good sleep last night, so, along with our two visitors, who were looking a bit tired, we decided to get a taxi home.

We did a bit of sun bathing around the pool for the afternoon followed by a small salad tea in the apartment.
