We followed our daily morning routine with a devotion led by Jackie and Sheryl and hopped on the bus to go to a retirement home. We ended up giving out postcards from Florida with little verses in Spanish on them, to the people. After finally believing that it was free, they took the postcards and used them as fans. We had a band come and sing typical flamenco Spanish songs, which some of the people got up and danced to. We also had three of our members share their testimonies, but the people didn't really listen. After the band was done, we helped put everything away and headed out to eat lunch. We stopped at a different mall so we could all choose our own places to eat. I ended up eating at T.G.I. Fridays ( I needed an American Meal) with my mom, Meagan, her mom, and Jackie. After our delicious food, we headed back to our rooms to take the longest siesta we have had so far. We got about two hours before we had to head to the church and meet with the women's ministry. We finally got to join in on Merienda ( a meal in between

lunch and dinner comprised of sweets). We all shared a little about ourselves in English and Spanish while eating our delicious sweets. As a present, the ladies ministry gave us all fans with little bible verses. When we were finished with the ladies, we went to meet up with the men who were doing something else. Once we all were together, we shared prayer requests and broke off into groups to pray. They all asked that we keep them in our prayers and that they will keep us in their prayers. Today is our last day doing mission work. The next two days will be sightseeing and relaxing before we depart on Sunday. I am sad to leave these wonderful people behind, but I know that I will be able to return one day and see all of the miracles that will occur.
