After telling everyone by phone and Skype that it is nice and warm here, well we would like to eat our words for it is not nice and warm, it is bloody hot. At various cafe's and restaurants that are on outside terasses, cool air is pressurised along the edges of the overhead canvas. We did not have a good city map, so this morning we went to look for the tourist info. Closed. Only open for group information and you had to ring a number. We put a note under the door, telling them what we our thoughts were about this. Next we went to the one in town close to the Cathedral. A nice informative Lady helped us and provided a good local map. And you know what, there are 16 churches and monastries in this town, so the holy bit is difficult to avoid. Our aim was to visit an Arabian Bath, which is housed in the oldest original building in Granada. We had a kilometre to go in the blazing sun. If the pavement would have been cooky dough we had fresh cookies to eat, done in not time at all. The bath better be worth it.

the car just fits
We supose it was. Build by the Moors between 1000/ 1100. How about that and it still stands. You get a good idea how it all worked. It had cold, warm and a hot bath. Even the floor was heated. Now the long way back over this hot hot road. The temp in the shade we saw was 37. Most of the Spanish have than their Siesta. A bit more about food and drinks. When you order a beer, you also get a plate with some food. We woke up to that, for we ordered two iced tea, guess why, a plate came on the table as well. It is for free, the waiter said. It is called Tapas. We had two chicken legs, some chips and olives, with the cool drinks it came to Euro 3.40 or $ 4.10. Yesterday we ate the Andalucian way and ordered tapas for two before the meal. A plate came on the table, we special asked for no Fish. On it were, meatballs croquets, potatoe salad and of course fish. They were small and swimming in a sort of oil. Liz tried it first. Oh you like that. It taste like sour herring. She was

right so it quickly disappeared. After that a meal was just to much. We could not eat it all. There is no end to the Spanish adventures. Tomorrow a new day, we only hope it is not that hot. Bye for now Liz & Allan
