El Puerto de Santa Maria & Cadiz

So after being back in Tarifa for one night, I decided to move on and meet up with Laura as she had one more night in her accommodation. We decided that cadiz was a good idea.

I found a hostel - El Boabab Hostel and booked for 3 nights. However this was outside Cadiz in Santa Maria but turned out to be a great location, only a 30 minute train ride to Cadiz and also had a nice beach too.

Dave and I had our first night there without Laura and when we arrived there a lovely Spanish guy gave us a lift to our hostel (as we had not written down directions or did not have wifi).

We chilled and went out for tapas at 12pm.

The next day (25/05) we ventured out down to the beach and walked through a forest and just generally wandered, it was a nice day. We also had a thing for the outdoor exercise equipment haha.

Laura arrived later in the evening. Dave was happy to finally meet the 'infamous Laura' as I had spoken about her a few times. We went out for tapas of course.

The next day we spent the day in cadiz where we explored the area, it was overcast unfortunately but enjoyed the day. Can't really complain 😉
