both the catholic and mosque architecture
We have had a wonderful time here in Cordoba. The weather has been cool - cold but we have survived. When we first got here we all took a nap. I slept in my coat until the heat got our flat a little warmer. I would never say it was warm in here except when we slept under the nice comforters. So we've seen La Mezquita - the mosque that was converted into a chapel. It has so many different architectures throughout the structure. We've seen Roman ruins, the Alcaza (during the day and at night for the light fountain show). We saw a flamenco show. The music and dance was grand. We've eaten a variety of food at a variety of times. It's been great traveling with Nicky and Tim.

I am sad to hear all the news from Carolina Beach and sad that 2 people did die in the fires. I can't believe someone went thru and started the fires. I am glad Shelly and Doc were not effected.

We're getting ready to head out to breakfast and then to visit more sites around town before heading back to the long train ride home.
