Euro Cup Semi-Final

The river was absolutely amazing! The water was so cold and it really helped calm the afternoon heat a bit. It was just beautiful being in the countryside & seeing the mountains!

Last night was pretty fun. After I got back from the river and there were people headed up to a little bar around the corner to watch the soccer game. Madrid won and their now in the final euro cup game!!! People were extatic here - big spain flags flying out of cars & horns beeping everywhere! i tried a bunch of different food from around here. There was this salad (called russian salad, which seemed like the not good thing to do since Madrid was playing Russia!) But anyway, it was made with potatoes, hardboiled eggs, tuna, and some kind of white dressing stuff. Maybe it doesn´t sound good, but it was so cold and refreshing!

I enjoyed a pretty nice night on the town after that (celebrating my last night in Cordoba). 😞

Today I will head to the Mezquita (a mosque turned cathedral) and then to Granada and the Alhambra. A pretty big day ahead!
