It seems like 'forever ago' since we started planning this trip, back on a cold January evening (ok so it wasn't that cold as we live in Mojacar southern Spain) we debated whether, after enjoying a four-day mini cruise in The Bahamas back on November, we may enjoy a slightly longer one.
Nothing like one extreme to another, we soon decided to jump in at the deep end (cue 14-days of sea related puns) and book a 14-day Transatlantic respositioning cruise on the Norwegian Epic, the third largest cruise ship in operation.
The crossing is a cool 14-days with stops at Madeira, St Maarten, St Thomas and ending in one of my favourite cities in the world, Miami.
Now I seriously need to get my annual USA fix so decided to tag six-days in Florida at the end. Twenty-four hours shopping in Fort Lauderdale (Sawgrass Mill Mall and Apple store be afraid, be very afraid). After that, five-nights in Key West and we even managed to talk a good friend from Chicago into meeting us down there (not much persuasion needed).
