Kamnik (pronounced ( listen); German: Stein or Stein in Oberkrain) is a town in northern Slovenia. It is the central settlement of the Municipality of Kamnik. It encompasses a large part of the Kamnik Alps and the surrounding area. The town of Kamnik has ruins of two castles as well as many examples of historical architecture. Wikipedia

This was one of the best and worst days yet. The scenery driving from Germany through Austria on route to Slovenia was breathtaking. The traffic and speed of the autobahn is racetrack of small compact vehicles. I would have taken the right lane more often. The pictures do not do the day justice. I'm so thankful I'm able to share this with Emily and wish Becca could have been here. We're here for 3 days to enjoy this wellness centre resort. Snovik Kamik Resort Slovenia is a real gem. AND the wireless service is good. XO
