The word pohod might not be translated properly in any other languages.. it's not like camping...
You might wonder what pohod really is.. It's a kinda of outdoorcamp but with less comforts and lot of difficulties. They say russians love to feel this feeling.. To see the church you have to sacrify yourself to walk 100 kilometres and the more you walk, the more you feel that you're getting closer to God..lol..
i got a chance to visit the small russian village called Stalitsa... about 5 hours from St.petersburg. We did all kind of activities in the fcukin damn cold winter... skiiing on frozen Volga river, visiting own town part and also getting deep freeze in my ass lol. Were like 20 of us but i only knew some of them.. Annja invited us to join the camp.. we had to get to the uncle Pasha, the russian intelligent guy who's decided to live isolately from civilized world... We made ourselfs food, clean his house and.. and... had been skiing for 6 hours on Volga to see that stupid cave lol... The area is so remote that when you skiied back to the hut, the only thing u could see
making foodmaking foodmaking food

olja and Annia
was all white snow arounds you!!.. and the moonlite that leads you the way home.. Is really once in a life time experience!! this is real russian life!!
