I was summoned here upon my arrival, then asked to help destroy a werewolf terrorising the villagers; but I had a beer instead.

Free Hostel Breakfast. Toast is on the way, but I was impatient so just took the picture anyway.

Hostel Garden.

This was the view that I spent most of my Bucharest time with. The hostel was an oasis in the thrum of the city.

Romanian Beef Stew with Polenta. Served in a restaurant dominated by a huge plastic horse and a guinea pig cage. I'm having such a great time.

The return to Brasov and the buildings still look as scary as ever.

Name the bird type!!! Anyway, I watched these formation duck and dive for about a half hour. On a balcony. In Transylvania. Nice.

Brasovian Square Designs

A cool little overgrown house.

Like "Fern Gully". Except there weren't any houses in that film. sigh.

It was a bit too much Beauty and the Beast, and a little less Vlad the Impaler type stuff.

I had to duck, which is saying something. The Japanese tours had a slight advantage here.

Yup, it was like a platform game, sort of.

In answer to your quiz
Quiz 2 - Bird type - could you have a more fuzzy far away shot. if i had to guess i'd say starlings (common throughout europe) and they have a tendancy to fill evening skies and fly in weird formations. otherwise i would say they are a type of dove/pidgeon. Glad your having a good time man. Hope the flights ok. Still not sure why you sent me a texty with my flight details but cheers anyway.

They could also be shore birds, waders of some type but i'm guessing transylvanias fairly inland so its unlikely

Meal shots and shoes on a string
Just to make certain, I love the meal shots. I also appreciate shots of beer and shoes on a string. I think the beer shots should become "a numbered feature". A lagers (or bitters as I would prefer) of the world, if you like.
