We got into Lisbon on Wednesday, April 22nd, with plans to spend only a couple days. We stayed for four before we could pry ourselves from this city! We met some great people and partied our time away. We were lucky enough to hit it during Portuguese Freedom Day that celebrates the liberation from a facist dictatorship in 1974. The same day is also ANZAC Day! From Lisbon, we moved south to beautiful, windy Sagres on the most southwestern coast. We spent three days beach lazing in this cozy rural setting before our last Portuguese destination, Lagos. Beautiful!
