she napped away, in her sunny spot, on top of this high moss covered wall.

We should pick and choose what we want to see in Lisbon, there is so much, and we are here only one day. We ask Cristina to show us what ever she would like to, and she kept us going for 9 hours! I took so many pictures! And have tried not to put too many on this site, but who knows when we will see all of you again, so this is our version of the dreaded "vacation home movie".

We walked, hopped on trolleys, the subway, and ran for the bus. Michal, who works with Keith, joined us for the morning before his flight back. It wasn't long before we realized that Lisbon has a complicated and exciting past. As do all of the cities we've seen over here! But here, with our friendly guide and the warm sunshine, Lisbon really did feel exceptional. Instead of an ordered review of what we did, I've just put pictures on here that we like. Their captions will help describe our day. One 'disclaimer' the video of the pastreis sounds silly, but I

can now load these on here without bugging Keith to help me, so it's on here. He says not to put the video of Cabo da Roca on, since I still take videos sideways sometimes! see entry on Milan's cemetery

This picture of the Rossio was taken when we were up on top of the Santa Justa Elevador. It's a weird structure made of iron, that is an option for getting to the next district, rather than walking up a another hill. It is an elevator, but we were already at the higher district so we walked up a tiny spiral staircase, to the top where there is a bar. It was designed by a student of the man that designed the Eiffel tower and has that lacy iron look. The views from here were beautiful.
