To the AirportTo the AirportTo the Airport

Always happy to be on the way to a new adventure.
The weather on Terceira and Ponta Delgada was changeable - warm, sunny and thunderous rain. We rode the public buses to see more of the islands and had some wonderful food watching the storms roll in from the south Atlantic. Great fish to eat at every meal and decent wines or beers.

Green country aptly named. It seemed every home along the bus routes out of the cities had a plot of land, a cow, chickens or turkeys and corn. the bus was an important connection between the outlying towns and schools and shopping. Had we not feared for our lives during the thunder storms, there are ample walking trails all over the islands.
