An extra 25' of boat is definitely noticeable in comparison to others at the dock.
Just realized after posting our last blog that it is not good to write captions after midnight as the brain is not fully in gear. The 65' Oyster sailboat is a full 25 feet, not 15 feet longer than our 40' Caliber. One other positive of a 40' boat was clearly pointed out by our friend, Dave - we definitely are happy that we do not have 25 more feet of bottom to sand or paint! It was great having a chance to be out on the water and to experience what it was like to be on a 65', but we now know that we will take a 65' sailboat off our list of boats we might be interested in!!!

For others of you just wanted to be sure to pass on another sunset photo - we definitely love the ones we have seen while sailing, but even in the marina, this one was impressive.
