The last blog showed a few of the activities we did for enjoyment during the last 2 weeks of March since returning from the US. We filled the rest of the time with book exchanges, computer group get togethers where we shared ideas, caught up with friends, Sandra and John as well as numerous cruising friends and treating ourselves to eating out a few times at local restaurants. We had our name and hailing port put on again in bigger letters this time – also put on a vinyl boot stripe as the paint put on in Trinidad did not hold up well.

We rose to a beautiful sunrise the morning Tsamaya was to be launched – we took it as a good omen.

April seemed to mark the start of the tourist season in Lagos as seen by the changes we see in town – here are numerous street vendors that were not here earlier this year.

The buskers are back in town with the tourists here now –we stopped to listen as this turned out to be a great group of musicians.

You can tell planting season is here as there was a crowd around this vendor selling seedlings at the farmer’s market.

Thank goodness for a telephoto lens – a 65’ sailboat is definitely much bigger than Tsamaya! Note, Bob isn’t even at the stern of the boat in this photo.
