I chose to compare Norway and the U.S. because Norway is ranked number one and the U.S. is number three. Norway is an advanced country because it has a higher rank than the U.S. Another reason is because Human Development Report is better and shows that they live longer, has a higher income amount, and has a higher trade amount. The U.S. expectancy rate of living is 78.7 as to Norway it is 81.3 years of age. That shows that the average person from Norway lives longer than the average person from the U.S. by 2.6 years. The average U.S. citizen goes to school longer than a Norway citizen which could show that the people of the U.S. may value education more than the people of Norway. Lastly the average income of a person from Norway is $48,688 as to a U.S. average citizen's $43,480. With this information its ironic how a Norway citizen makes more money than a U.S. citizen and they go to school longer.
