The last Saturday in September started at 5:30am for us. We rode our bikes in the dark to an Aussie Pub which was televising the big game. It had 18 TV’s and was crammed with people. We found a great spot to watch the game and the atmosphere was sensational. In the final stages of the match when either team got a goal the crowed went wild. It was cool to be able to watch the game even though I was in Amsterdam.

Next we went to the market. The market as always was great. We got some spicy nuts that I really like and saw them making these huge thin Dutch pannakukkens*. I had a great time.

After lunch we decided to go on a canal bike that we had seen before. Harry, dad and I took turns to pedal down the canals. We got to this intersection where we had to dodge about 5 boats including a police boat and lots of other large boats.
