Hey guys again.
I went to The Netherlands for three days with the Rotary and all i can say is that it was a blast!

Thursday: Woke up at 5:15 to take the train to Bruxeles where we had to meet up. Saw all my buddies that i havnt seen for ahile so that was good, and met alot of newies that just arrives from Australia, South Africa and a few other countries. Anyways we all got on the bus together for the two hour bus ride. Our first stop was the town Of Delft which was a really pretty little village known for its blue and white pottery. All the house are high and thin with funny looking roofs. There was also a lot of canals and also a lot of people on bikes! You have to be careful of the bikes to because they have the right of way so if you are in their way you will get hit! So i was pretty careful to look on both sides of the street. we also went to look at a museam where the painter who painted 'the girl with the pearl earing' lived, it was ok but i spent most of my time in the museam talking with the others hehe. There was also a Market going on while we were there-very european-people were selling huge hunks of cheese, clothes, sausage and pretty mutch anything you can imagine. So yeah after a couple of hours there we went back on the bus to get to our hotel in Amsterdam. I shared a room with three girls that are really good friends of mine. After dinner we all went out with the three Rotary people who were looking after us to the Red light district-it was pretty,...um different lol. and after that they took us back to the hotel and me and my friends were up the whole night talking and having fun. I had like 5 hours of sleep-cuz i decided i perfered sleeping to breakfast-good idea on my part

Friday: Was a really busy day. We went to see a museum in the morning all about the History of the Dutch which was pretty cool, after that we took a boat ride on the canals and saw the huge port that they have. After lunch we went to the Museam of Anne frank which was really

sad seeing all that but at the same time it was a good thing to see. Ive seen the movie so i new already the story and now i want to read the book. After supper we saw the Museam of Van Goeah during the night. It was really cool-i love looking at pictures and trying to understand what the artist was trying to portray. Then we all went back to the hotel for the night and i hardly sleept at all again!

Sat: I was absolutley dead on my feet that day and im not relly sure what we did, We saw a museam about the jews during the 2nd world war but i didnt really take a lot of things with me about that-i was almost falling asleep as was everybody else. THan we walked it seems like forever to look at a flower market-pretty sure the three rotariens wanted to kill all of us..kidding but they had to know how dead on our feet we were! Anyways got on the bus to get home and i slept for two hours on the bus-whitch as you know is an accomplishment for me-its hard for me to sleep in moving cars. Anyways my host mom picked me up at the train station and i got home where i could get some sleep.

All in all it was a really good trip and it was nice that there were only like 50 or so of us cuz we got to know eachother easier. And one day i want to come back to Amsterdam again!!!
love you all
