The Little Country!!!

Well... Where do I start?

Cherie has made me write this blog as she wanted to waste about as much time writing this as she did hanging out in Liechtenstien.

I was already in trouble for the 9+hrs train ride back through Switzerland (which was beautiful) and spending a night in a little backwater town called Sargans which was more expensive than i predicted. Especially when she realised we could've gone straight from Venice to Innsbruck/Austria in about 6hrs. All this just to see a little country called Liechtenstein!!!

My only defence is that Shelly and the team from the 'Great Outdoors' did an amazing job making this place look like the place to visit. Don't get me wrong now, especially if there are any Liechtensteinians reading this, it is a quaint little country and Vaduz seems like a nice little town, BUT. . . there was not really much to do there and it was no better than anything we had already seen and the Princes Castle. . . Well I thought with 3.3 Billion pounds it would be a little flasher than that. The photos we got of the castle was the best that I could do as Cherie was not up to the climb for a better shot and was ready to leave as soon as we arrived.

Our highlight was the fact that they stamped our passports to remind us we were actually there, in the wonderful country of Liechtenstein!!! (Even that cost us though!)

So after that adventure my dream of visiting the beautiful Liechtenstein was crushed after 3 years of wanting to go there, it goes to show, you can't always believe what you see on TV!!!
