DAYS OUT

Madison's friend Brigid from Australia arrived so we all headed for the Cinque Terre, we did it at Xmas by train
this time by Boat. The Boat you get to see much more of the coast and the towns.

We also went to Florence I had not been there since 1995 so it was all new to me again. We drove and stayed at the Novatel just near the airport. It was great just 79Euros for 4 in a room and free carparking and easy to get too, for those who know what driving in Florence is like.

We caught the town bus in and it only took 30mins and we were at the station. It was a warm day the warmest yet 26 and sunny.

David had to work that day at a local hospital so that night we had tea with his boss and a nice restaurant. Tripe is the local meal in Florence so I got some for everyone to try. I really liked it which I was surprised so did the kids, it was only the bigger one's who did'nt like it.

That night we went back to the

hotel and had a few drinks at the bar with Rod and Ruth it topped of a nice day out.
