Okay, so its mainly replicas of Michaelangelo´s "David". We arrived, found our campsite, dumped our stuff and made sandwiches for lunch out of Kate´s stolen bread rolls from her previous hostel. We walked about the city a while that day. We were very frazzled on decisions for dinner, our midnight dinner. Finally after walking to another place which was too pricey for us, we went back to our campsite and shared a pizza. I think Kate was the happiest at that point. While eating , a table nearby happened to be a swarm of Vancouverites, some from UBC. Youngins of course. They later burst into the anthem in their drunken state, and we sat and stared in embarassment. Even later that night, four of the guys started yelling and running about the dining area. They sat one behind the other on the ground and proceeded to row. Yes, as if they were in a rowboat...we finished our pizza and headed for bed.
Ciao, Angele
