We arrived in Florence and hung around and took photos at Michelangelo Plaza where the remake statue of David is. We stayed at a caravan park next to the Plaza. The view from the lookout at the Plaza was amazing. You could see half of Florence. We went out into Florence that night and it was really pretty with the lights and the nice night breeze. Oh and the late night ice-cream was good. The funny thing was we got there after 9pm and there was a fair amount of people, but at about 11pm everyone flooded in, and kept coming. Given, it was a Saturday night, but even younger kids and families came late. Anyway it was pretty, but trying to get back was a little hectic, with trying and failing to find and hail a taxi, then trying to call the company and failing because they hung up for the lack of speaking english, then getting someone to call for us but when he came he was rude and without even talking to us he refused because he said the baby counted as another person even though she doesn't get a seat and said that's 1 too many and left. So we finally found where the taxis park after speaking to another driver and finally got back to the RV. It was nice, but the time we spent there was enough for us. 😊 x
Stay tuned for photos when I can.

Aahh the adventures you have whilst travelling! Sounds like getting a taxi was a stressful pain for you that night, but it will be a big story to tell for years.
