Today I took the trek up the 463 stairs to inside the cupola of the Duomo. It was the best exercise, physically and emotionally I have ever gotten. The views of Florence were amazing. I also got be right next to the beautiful fresco inside the Duomo. Amazing.
I spent the rest of the day wandering around the city, at a much slower pace. It only took the steps of the Duomo to knock the New York walk out of me.

LOVE the jasmine! does it smell wonderfully all over? did you find any strange bits after the vendors left, like leather wrist bands?
