We rode our bikes to town today to the weekly oudoor market. You could buy almost anything you need there. I bought a new dress and we found lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and some great roasted chicken and sausages.

Then the next stop was up the hill to check out the castle. You cannot go inside the castle because someone lives there. But you can walk around the streets of the ancient town which are enclosed by the city walls. People live in the buildings within the walls. As we wandered around the narrow streets it is fun to imagine what it would be like to live there.

After trying out one of the local treats, gelatto (Italian ice cream) it was time to go home and enjoy all the great stuff we bought at the market.
