Chill weekend

Here I am, fairly settled in and all that good stuff.
Friday was the first day of our long weekend, we decided not to go anywhere cause it was our first weekend and it would be good to get out barrings and get all comfortable in our new italian town. A couple of people went to Rome, some more went to Perugia and some went to Sienna. There is a town about an hour long bus ride away that apparentley has good shopping that a couple people went to the other day. I was debating it but decided that I should wait to go shopping for a little later in the trip so that I know where I stand with my monnnieees. so friday we went down to the CO-OP in Camucia and bought some stuff. Hair dye, soap etc. haha(I really need to dye my hair again, just to throw that in there).
Saturday was the worst weather we've seen all week, it was rainy and windy and miserable I should have taken some pictures but I was more concerned with trying to keep myself as warm and dry as possible. I had bought an umbrella in rome from a guy on the street for five euro and it broke and I was smart enough to buy another which met its end yesterday. The wind showed no mercy, haha it was completley useless! So i bought a much sturdier looking umbrella yesterday. Except it has this really lame shield thing with it, so it looks like a light sabar its soo dorky. I'll have to take a picture and post it! So ya I did that, and I was in the grocery store all excited about my new umbrella and the store worker guy was talking to me in english and I was happy that he spoke english cause I always feel really stupid cause all i know how to say is what is your name how are u and a couple numbers. So we were talking for a bit then he says something in Italian to the rest of the store and they all looked and me and laughed and then he stopped talking to me all together. I was very very upset. Haha no I wasn't but it was kinda strange, I mean if he was talking about me in english I could tell him where to go but instead it was just very very confusing haha! So Ryan and I went down to the town and washed our clothes which is quite the adventure!!! As soon as we stepped in the store people were yellling at us in Italian and confusing us. But it turns out they were all just very eager to help us work the machines. So now my clothes are clean and they smell very nice, except I felt kinda stupid cus I brought soap with me and the machines automatically soapify your clothes. It much easier to hand wash your clothes because you dont have to pay or take the bus to a different town but there is no where to hang your clothes cause everyone elses is taking up the lines. I think I'll stick with my expensive machinary washing :D!

Haha I suppose I should tell you all a bit about wher I am staying. So its a hostel and the top of a gigantic hill that I should take a picture of. It is actually gigantic, like I dont think you could set the hill setting on a treadmill to be that steep. And if yuou can, its probabley the highest setting... try it out! and two it for 7 minutes and tell me how you all feel when your done. I have to do that like 4 times a day. I better get some nice compliments on my derriere when I get home!! So other than that there is a main common room on the bottom floor that has a whole bunch of table and a couple computers and that is where we eat and the drinkers drink and the talkers talk and the homeworkers work and readers read. Its pretty multi purpose as you can tell. Then there are two floors of room and I think 7 showers to share between 50 of us. Haha, I have been showering at sneaky times and avoiding running out of warm water but others are not so lucky. HEE HEE! The rooms have a bout 6 people in them and about 6 or seven bunk beds.. some have less. Its pretty cramped but im getting used to it. Haha I must tell you about the people who work at the hostel. There is this lady who cleans the rooms and bathrooms every morning and she is soooo soooo cute and funny and doesn't speak a word of enlgish but I love her. Haha she has a crush on this guy mike and she even called ryan pretty the other day. Haha this morning I was changing and she opened the door(to come in and clean) and she saw me and was just like OOooooOOOOOOOooo and shut the door. it was soooo funny!! And when people are still sleeping she tip toes around and you can't help but crack up, oh man shes cute. I will also ahve to take a picture of her.

Well I think thats about it for now! keep emailing me! I get very sad hehe!
