Sunny, Scintillating Sicily!! Greetings Blog fans, here is part one of my two part blog for the 8 days we had in wonderful Sicily. Love this pic! It is cool. Something about the juxtaposition of the fallen statue with willy in front of the temple.....WIll look at the rest later but have Charlie duty.

this is such a lovely church seems to have a lot other influences in style. those ruins were cool. can imagine being zeus or hera sat up there issuing my commands to the lesser mortals!

Catania 2 and 3 very nice. 2 is nicely structured and i like the difference in the colour of the trees and the buildings in 3. this pic scares me! were you at the top? was it smelly? it is soooo high up i would have not been happy.

This was nearly at the top, this crater is about 18 months old, the ones on top are still very active, it wasn't that bad in terms of smell because of the wind

Well jealous!!
Ok, I'm very jealous - the Valley of Temples looks amazing - I could spend ages there. Not enough photos though - more temple photos in the future please! Also in the erice3 photo - is the tower leaning, or is that just the photographer??
