Rome day 2

Tuesday Oct 16th

10:30 AM tour of the Vatican that lasted until 2:30. The tour guide Luigi was an
art history major and a typically pasionate and animated Italian which made the
tour interesting and fun. Even at this time of the year the Vatican is wall-to-wall
people. Then a quick sandwich and we caught the bus, the correct direction this time, and went back to the old section to walk through the Palentine Hill until they kicked us out.
Tonight was dinner at Piazza Navona and a walk back to the hotel.
