Rome, what can I say about Rome, it was wonderful, it was a very buzzing city, we arrived at during the evening and went for a walk around, walked past the colosseum and i was amazed at its hugeness. It was massive. We walked around and to the centre of town and saw the Trevi Fountain, where you make three wishes mine didn't come true. It looked great under the lights, you saw Zeus in all his glory. We then moved on the pantheon which was this beautiful church they had just finished the service when we arrived. We then were told to go get dinner so my group wondered round and we found a place that was lovely and everyone was there so it was good, I had some really nice pasta and wine. Then we were taken to the best place to get gelato and it was so good, most of us had seconds it was this tiny place and there we are trying to get in. Then it was to the hotel and bed.

The next day we went on a guided tour of rome and old rome and it was raining so yay. We saw the the centre of old rome, where the saying "All roads lead to rome" came from so that was great, Then we went to the colosseum and my ticket was wet and so was tara and we both stuffed up a terminal each it was hilarous everyone had to go to one line. Anyway so we went in and it was sooooo big and we looked around brought stuff and then went to the vatican city, we waited for about 1/2 and then got in and went through St Peter’s Basilica which was amazing, the place was very spirtual. We then went underground of where the tombs were of the old popes and that was an experience, we then went to the post office because it has its own and posted a post card. Then it was home for tea and sleep
