Sunrise, Sunrise

Sam, Bridget, Jess, and I (along with about 10 others) woke up around 5:40AM today! We walked about 2 miles up a hill near the Vatican to watch the sunrise over Rome. (It was a good test for the good'ol femur of mine.) The sun was "scheduled" to rise at 7:15AM....and boy was it almost exactly on time! How do you predict that? It's beyond me, that's for sure! The dark, cold crawl out out of bed was worth it. It was beautiful! I could see basically all of Rome. Here are some pictures:
