Before EatingBefore EatingBefore Eating

...not knowing the deliciousness that awaited us...
So I realize the majority of my blogs usually have food as the highlight, so I'm taking the occasion to have one entire entry dedicated to an amazing meal that I had this past weekend. All along the Emilia-Romagna coast this past weekend was "La Notte Rosa" or the "Pink Night" which just basically means everything stays open late and there are concerts and other types of activities to keep people up all night long. It is a play on words, as in Italian... a night in white means to Well Fabio and I decided to go, and meet up with friends down there. Well at the last minute (and we were already down in Ravenna), our friends call us and tell us they decided to go to the Lidi Ferrarese, which is the Galveston of Ferrara...; At that point, we decided..."Alright... let's go and eat in a restaurant!"... we didn't even get a huge multiple course meal... we decided on a fried seafood platter and a grilled seafood platter, accompanied by grilled vegetables... however, the food was absolutely delicious!!! You will have to check out the photos!! After having this very tasty meal, we enjoyed our "caffè" and our "ammazza-caffè" Montenegro... and went along the boardwalk. There were concerts and the such. In the end, we ended up at a beach bar/club to go dancing. After spending the majority of the night out and about... we decided to go ahead and catch the train and head back home; however, we will always remember the exquisite seafood that we shared that night 😊
