So I've been pretty busy here between school and figuring out the greater Galway area. Here is a picture update.

The bridge from the Cathedral into town has a beautiful view of the river Corrib.

The walk across the bridge back home is a great view of the St. Nicholas Cathedral. The man we know as St. Nick (yes I mean Santa) is known in Ireland as the patron saint of sailors.

Famous pub in Galway. It is called the King's Head because it was given to the man who executed the king of England and then fled to Ireland.

This is Shop Street the main street of the city center. It is completely pedestrian and home to many buskers.

This wall and tower insider the Galway mall are not fake. They are in fact the only remains of the original wall that surrounded the city when it was founded.

The castle like town house of the Lynch family is now the Allied Irish Bank.
