Dublin was so full of foreigners, that in the downtown area every second person seemed to be speaking a language other than english. There were lots of Polish, Russian, and Lithuanian food shops all over town.

Temple Bar, the central area with many pubs and clubs and nightlife, where Viktorija is working as well, is a hot tourist site. In some bars a pint of beer costs up to 6 Euros. And with Dublin just a cheap RyanAir flight away from so many major cities, many folks come for the weekend to party.

On a visit to the Jameson Museum, I was selected as one of the 'tasters' to compare a variety of Scottish, American, and Irish Whiskies. I received a diploma at the end as an official Jameson Whiskey Taster!!

we took a day trip, Viktorija and myself, up the Irish coast. it was really beautiful and only a short 30 minute train ride away.
