korossylMay 25th 2007 I'm pretty much living a dream.
In 1552, 2,000 Hungarians under the command of Capt. István Dobó engaged the Turkish forces under bashas Ali and Ahmed. When the Turks retreated 30 days later, there were 400 Hungarian martyred... and 140,000 Turks killed. This is one of the most glorious victories in Hungarian history, and was immortalized in a novel by Géza Gárdonyi that has since become required reading in all Hungarian school. This book was pivotal in my own awakening to my Hungarian heritage, and to work day by day in this sacred place is an unbelievable honor.
So, I took about 120 pictures, so here's some of them.

We know the csárdás!...kinda
So, was there no one else around? I bet you could´ve just asked someone to help take a picture of yourself...or if you wanted to figure it out on your own that´s good too...Despite the fact that the wax figures kinda creep me out, it looks like an amazing place to work! I miss you!
