After leaving Trizonia, we sailed to the city of Patras, which was a little dirty, but it had interent and water, so we survived just fine. The harbor master was a little crazy, and also had anger issues, we just had to laugh because he was so rediculous.

The best part about our stay was that on the 4th of July, there was a concert given by the Greek navy, right by the water so we could listen to the whole thing from the boat. We thought it was nice of them to set up a 4th of July concert for the benefit of the Americans 😊

We weren't that attatched to Patras so today we sailed on to Ithaca, the destination we were all looking forward too. I love this Island!! No wonder Odysseus spent so many years trying to return to his home. The entire island is green, and mountainous.

We had to med moor this time, and it came off well especially since Randi Jo and I had never done it before. It worked out well though, Gunter at the helm, Lois lowering the anchor, and Randi Jo and I at the stern cleating the lines.

I am excited to do some exploring!!
