Us Kayaking!
Megan checking in!
Hi all,
Today we spent the entire day exploring Milos from the water. Rod, a super tan Aussie picked us up from our hotel and brought us down to the beach to go sea kayaking. We were all a little nervous at first (and hungover) but we picked it up pretty quickly and then we were off. Along the way we stopped for some swimming and snorkeling and we had lunch right next to an abandoned old sulfur mine. In order to earn our lunch we had to do some cliff jumping from this wooden beam about 20 ft up. Salt water up your nose is not cool...but the jumping was a pretty good time! The wind picked up on our way back so we had to face some vicious waves and wind. It was a bit too much for a couple of the gals so they got a little help from a tow from the instructors. The rest of us kept on plugging with the mantra that beer is cold and they have it at the beach bar back where we started. We are pretty beat from all that paddling so we are going to play it

cool and head home early tonight. Tomorrow we might try to rent some scooters and explore the other side of the island. Don't worry dad, we'll be wearing helmets! We'll let you know how it goes!
