A short break on Aetoma Hotel's computer here as since I had to reload Windows XP on the laptop it does not recognize WPA networks. So still no photos, sorry. On top of that the laptop charger was left in the Hilton Athens guestroom and we do not return there until the 9th. The balcony on the top right, this was really a beautiful street.

Looking out towards the sunset and the Venetian Castle. Nafplion was a long-time Venetian possession.

The main square, a great old center still exists that belies the Venetian history of the town.

There are many streets like this all over Nafplion. From our experience this is not typically Greek or even Pelopponesian. It is unique to Nafplion.
