After 4 nights in Athens we are now leaving for a villa outside the small town of Marathonas, 26 miles north of the city. There was an old stairway from the top of the castle that brought you all the way down to the town of Nafplio. Of course we walked it!

The ancient theatre in Epidavros. This thing seats 15,000 and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Due to superior acoustics you can easily hear unamplified voices from any seat.
