Today we went to Athens, Greece. About the time we reached the Acropolis a downpour began. Not just your typical shower, but more like movie rain, where it is just buckets of water. The steps were slippery, but we climbed to the top and got to see the Parthenon. We bought umbrellas from a vendor for 8 Euros each. That many umbrellas in a small space was asking for trouble. I have a few marks on the front of my face from getting pegged by the ends of other peoples umbrellas. VERY cute I must say. Our tour guide was interesting. She filled every second on the bus with talking. I think she was running out of things to say when she randomly said: 'Our bus is white." LOL! Great trip even if it was very wet. Hope things are well and we will update with Pompeii soon!

(Talk about extremes. 2000 degree weather in Egypt to 50 degree weather in Athens..) 😊
