30 May 2016 When we woke up we had visitors. A cruise ship was moored about 50 yards away from us and when it had dropped off some of its punters for a coach trip to Rothenburg, it gently moved away to continue its journey along the Main.
We continued our journey south through Wurtzburg and then along the northern section of the Romantic Way, a road which passes vineyards and many attractive towns. In the early afternoon we arrived at a superbly positioned free camper stop just outside the town walls of medieval Dinkelsbuhl.
Dinkelsbuhl was undamaged in both the Thirty Years and Second World Wars, consequently it has a superb collection of authentic buildings. Our afternoon was spent walking around the walls and then through the centre of the town.
