Well we are here safely in Frankfurt after a marathon plane journey via Dubai. My travel partner - Anthony Dean and I managed to stay sane, and relatively fit after the two flights.
Perth to Dubai was 11.5 hours on a seat designed by Boral Concrete - mmmm very comfy. Kept sane by a huge selection of entertainment and crying children. By the end I must have been flagging as I found Dodgeball hilarious!
Dubai was hot - 40+ and humid - Ahhh - glad we were just passing thru. Dubai - frankfurt was good with few people on the flight I stretched out over four seats and had a kip.
Last night stayed at an airport hotel and caught up on sleep. Last nights meal was an interesting intro to Germany. A German italian resturaunt - we went for pizza and I had a very novel number incorporating boiled egg, frozen peas and small sausage - Yum yum.
Got to go now and pick up the camper then off on a 1200km drive to the south of France!
LE TOUR FANTASTIQUE Hi Rod (and Anthony) Been watching to Le Tour every night (shame we only get about 2 hours max of viewing time on SBS) and Phil is his usual fantastique self - just love that man.
Drive safe on the way to France will be looking out for you on the side of the road.

hello dad (and anthony) Hello Dad,
Glad to hear that your flight was good
That pizza sounded nice, you should cook one when you get back.
We were disturbed by the news that you found Dodgeball funny as we had just been talking about how stupid it was.
maybe the flight altered your brain waves/capacity
Mum is yelling about something in the background so we should go.
love you
from kate and Ellie
(ELLIE IS BEING VERY ANNOYING ABOUT CAPITAL LETTERS SO HERE ARE SOME TO PLEASE HER)
