after walking in the lower church...you get to this small narrow way up to the top!
So our time here has been wonderful. Such a warm and welcoming family that I am staying with, but pretty much everyone has a great home here! Today we were able to sleep in til 830! it was so nice! Frööshtuk was not until 9 because we didnt need to be at the church again until 10. We went into the city of Ulm. The main part of the day was to visit the Ulma Munster...which means the Ulm Church. It was HUGE! the largest cathedral in the world!...well tallest at least. We actually were part of there 1130 service so we were able to sing 3 songs and it was great. Then tehre was an organ concert that we could stay for, which we ended up doing so because it was such an amazingly huge organ. I changed my mind to wanting an organ played for the wedding! Dr. paul said we should have just gotten married there today! After the concert we climbed the 768 very narrow and chlostrophobic steps to the top of the cathedral! it was not as hard as I thought, just very scary. After climbing the first 600 steps the next were just in this

from on top of the cathedral you could see the other 2 towers of the church
small round top part of the cathedral and we waiting for so long because only about 20 people could fit on the top so once you made it up you had to walk down these tiny steps while others were waiting to go up....scary! i got so dizzy but made it up fine! my legs arent even tired, but they were shaking when we got back down to the bottom.

We then had our concert tonite and the church was packed! definately our largest crowd yet. They have a large sanctuary and there were well over 600 people there filling up seats and even in the balcony. At the end when we shook hands...after our double encore once again..they wanted another song after but we were like Nine Danke!(no thank you) too tired...I saw people that came all the way from Stüttgart to see us sing again! it was so cool! Then i finally introduced Andrew to my host family who keeps mentioning him...they say his name so cute! then i met his family and the adorable little girl he is with, Freideriche. Somehow between our Denglish we figured out a plan for the nite. Lauren and i came back to our house and changed and had eis cream sundaes and had lots of laughs with our family exchanging words taht they can not pronounce in english and vise versa. they cannot say Massechusetts..and i cannot spell, but they are so funny. then they took us out to andrews family's neighbors house for a garden party! it was so cute! we had wine, and chicken, and pork and all these kinds of salads, and cheesecake and sat by the fire and lit sparklers. Other people from choir were there too because we all lived so close. It was a good time. Here are some more pics and I really need to go to bed because we have a morning service to sing in tomorrow and then a picnic and fütball all day! yay! Miss you!
