Well we've been in Germany 5days!! Difficult bus ride here... over 24hours with lots of pointless waiting, and not sleeping! Borders are a pain... just getting back to almost sleep and everyone off the bus into the cold again while dogs search the bus and we wait in lines for passport control! Slight hicup with the Serbian leaving border... they had never seen a NZ p/port and as ours are relitivly new and don't have too many stamps, they were suspicious - thought that they could be fake etc!

However we arrived safe (but tired - espically me - ez - as I didn't get any sleep the night before we left either!) Silvia (Zoki's latest wife)picked us up from Numburg and back to Zoki and her little flat in Marktshogast - provincial town (about 1500 people - near bigger Bayreuth)

Heres Lex...hi, yeah germany is so cool and clean after the balkans, really lovely! the first few days we just lazed and looked around the village, playing around in the SNOW! Very Very cool. But starting to get itchy feet again and plan to go to Berlin in a few days, then Prague, Czechsolvaka.
Dad and silvia are getting increasing annoying, so i think its best that we scram soon, they call us the "children" and seem to think that we need to have our hands held.
Fishing for silvia's parents on they're fish and pig farm tomorrow...should be interesting..
So many wicked buildings and snow snow snow. love it.
Oh and saw squirriels and mole hills! I really really want ez to see a fox, theyre super.
Eating way to much chocolate due to silvias influence.

Parents......
Hi Alex and Ez don't forget that Zoki's main (only?) contribution to your upbringing was the initial genetic one......after that it was all Meg so feel free to tell him to get stuffed if he is pissing you off....or just plain vote with your feet. There's some unfilial advice from your Aunt! However, the piccys look great.. very historic and old and COLD! Have just been to Cashmere for the parent information evening... Jen not looking forward to a further severing of the umbilical cord but maybe she'll warm to it when we start pissing HER off big time with our fuddy duddy ideas and attitudes! Katrina
