The serious driving across Europe to get home started today. To begin we went 250k eastwards to Milan, then across the Alps via the Simplon Pass before making our way to the home of Dick and Angie Anderson in the French alpine resort of Châtel where we ski every January. A very pleasant evening was had in their company.
