Hurrah back in to France! We stopped not far over the border at Port Vendres, a lovely fishing village, where we went out for lunch and a walk to the lighthouse on the coast path.
Then on to St Pierre Sur Mer and a great parking place next to a beach full of shells. Lovely in the winter, but very busy, I should think, in the summer.
We headed down to the Camargue where we intended to spend a couple of days walking and cycling, but there was an evil cold mistral blowing and I wimped out. We took a leisurely drive around in Myrtle instead.
We are now in Ribiers (near Laragne) and, as my sister is away in New Zealand, Dave and Rachael have very kindly taken pity on us and are letting us stay for a few days. I have taken up residence next to the wood burning stove and it might take Phil a few days to prise me away!
