Boat to FranceBoat to FranceBoat to France

Leaving Ireland
Right now i'm on a train from Cherborg to Paris. I didn't write last night because the boat-ride was making me ill. But i'll write about yesterday now.
We got up and walked to the train station to find out there were no trains to the harbor. So we took a bus there instead. We got there and bought tickets for the boat and then had a few hours to pass before we could board. We mostly hung out at the cafe in the station playing cards and reading. I'm glad we bought cards ^_^
Finally we boarded the boat. There were hundreds of what seemed to be French students on as well, so it was noisy and crowded. We dropped off our bags in our tiny room (at the very bottom of the boat - most likely under water) and looked around. I started feeling sick, so we spent most of the time on the top, outdoor deck, which had nice fresh air and less rocking - but it got cold very quickly. Adam bought us some Guiness beanies. Eventually we ate a little bit of food (not much) and went to our room to sleep. It was around 9pm.

The Sunset from the boat.
We listened to our i-pods and slept.
I felt much better this morning when I got up. We packed up our stuff and went to the top of the boat again. And we could see land! It was fun watching as we pulled in to the harbor. We got off quicly and got another stamp in our passports. A shuttle took us to the harbor station, and we took a taxi to the train station. We got there a few minutes before the tain left. So now 3 hours until Paris, and i think we may be going to Belguim after that.
But i'll write more tonight.
