Chamonix is the home of exreme skiing for good reason. Up for adventure, two of us followed some locals out of bounds only to learn we were on the long Pas du Chevre trek into town not to a lift. Fortunately, we found Mark who led the way and we made it back via a very long day of skiing and hiking in varied terrain. We had created our own Aiguille du Midi adventure - definitely not for the light of heart!
