La Chapelle d’Abondance

We left the U.K. and spent 2 days driving south to La Chapelle d’Abondance for Dick and Angela Anderson’s golden wedding celebration weekend.

On the way we parked the van for the night in the carpark of a favourite restaurant of ours, the Auberge du Château de Vaite in the hamlet of Champlive not far from Besançon. There we dined on delicious trout from their stream and wandered around their magnificent gardens.
