A Drive through Provincial France to St Remy

Matt and I woke up in our room in Nice the following morning, checked out, and rolled our suitcases (I definitely overpacked... rolling 2 suitcases and carrying 2 big purses doesn't work that well in Europe) to the Hertz location near the water. We walked across the street to the underground parking lot and after loading the car up, we were on our way to out next destination... St Remy!

The freeways in France look like they could be anywhere in the US, but once we got off the main freeways and on to the smaller roads in the countryside, it finally felt like we were in Provence. The scenery (narrow tree-lined roads) reminded me of the movie "A Good Year." We probably drove some of the very same streets.

A couple hours later, we arrived at Mas St. Joseph which was just a short walk down the street from the central city area. Everything is slow-placed and relaxing in St. Remy, although it was a slightly bigger town than I expected.
