Today would not be spent in Marseille but rather the small neighbouring town of Avignon. I booked my train tickets last night and made sure to arrive at the Avignon Centre station. The other is on the TGV and comes in a little out of the centre of town (although much faster it is also much more expensive). On the TER (Train Express Regional) it takes about an hour and a half. Travelling ... is there anything better? Okay so getting through airport security is a hassle and you practically need a university degree just to figure out what you can and cannot bring in your carry-on. That aside, the feeling of seeing or experiencing something new cannot be beat. So far, I have been very fortunate to be able to carry out this dream of mine ... and hopefully there are many more trips to come in my future!... full info

Wow! I am not sure I could visit France and not return some 50 lbs heavier! Hhmm, very colorful shirts and skirts:) Looks like happy clothes are required to dance on the Pont d'Avignon:)
