The Place de l'Hotel de Ville

The best thing about today was lunch. Molly and Bridget took me to a place-La Banette- where you can get a sandwich, a drink and a dessert for only 5 euros! Awesome! We took them to the Place de Hotel Ville and ate them under a tree, just watching the passing scene. We each got different desserts and passed them around. Molly’s brownie was voted the best. As we finished an accordian player started playing in front of us. With the sunshine and the square full of people at the cafes and the lovely, French music wafting through the air, I thought it was a very special moment in time. It was really beautiful.

I call home tonight to say bye before the trip. I also realized (or was told) that today is mom's birthday! So happy b-day Mom! Tomorrow, Saturday, I have to take the 7h22 bus to make it to the Rotonde in time for the trip. I'm so excited- Nice and Monaco this weekend!
